A Final Note from Innkeepers, Phill & Alison
Welcoming guests for a Vermont wedding is a joy. As innkeepers ensuring that the needs of our guests and your friends are met and, we hope, exceeded by the weekend always remains our primary focus. To date this has included:
- Supplying ties, cufflinks, belts, cumber bunds, bowties and umbrellas (Phill has an extensive former wardrobe)
- Sewing various garments plus providing countless needles, thread, buttons, safety pins and even duct tape!
- Assisting with speech writing
- Advising on retailers for shoes, suits and dresses (a surprising number of guests leave their outfits at home!)
- Transportation: to the wedding (when cars fail to start!) and picking vehicles up the next day…. A task we’re happy to help with in keeping guests and the Vermont roads safe.
Finally while we do not claim to be The Weather Channel (available to our guests on their room televisions), we are always happy to be honorary weather oracles, typically living by the Australian "no worries" approach – after all you’re in Vermont and the weather can change in the blink of an eye!
