Breakfast at Tucker Hill Inn is a memorable Vermont bed and breakfast experience! Our acclaimed full country breakfast is served in our window-walled Morning Room and is guaranteed to prepare you for whatever Vermont activities are planned for the day.
We offer freshly prepared baked goods, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals including local Vermont organic grains and juices accompanied by a main breakfast dish that changes daily. Favorites include: Omlettes with herbs from the Inn’s gardens, Orange Pancakes, Baked French Toast with walnuts and bananas and a traditional English breakfast. When available we feature fresh local produce including of course Vermont maple syrup, Vermont fresh eggs and breakfast breads baked from scratch in our own Vermont kitchen.
A young guest shared recently that he thought we were a Vermont bread and breakfast. Clearly the concept of a bed and breakfast inn had got a little skewed and he was most relieved to discover that breakfast in Vermont was much more than bread!
Relaxing & Leisurely
Our breakfast room is not open to the public and with seating for 50, there’s never a wait. In summer and fall you can enjoy views of the flowers blooming and the hummingbirds feeding and even choose to partake of breakfast outside on our patio.
Our Keurig coffee maker is always brewing for early risers and soft music eases you into the day ahead.
Breakfast is the only meal served at the Inn. The area has a strong locavore movement and close by Montpelier is home to the New England Culinary Institute. There are 10+ restaurants within a 10 minute drive of the Inn in the towns of Waitsfield and Warren , and one or two a little further away but well worth the trip. The array of choices is endless – from world-class cuisine to hamburgers – and no chain restaurants anywhere. Review our recommended listing and plan your visit today!
